Membership in NERA introduces you to a community of educators who are interested in all aspects of educational research. More than 350 people attended the annual conference held in October 2009 and helped us celebrate NERA’s 40th birthday. We welcome experienced researchers, junior faculty, and graduate students.

If you are not able to attend our annual meeting this year (October 20-22, 2010), you still are eligible to join NERA or to renew your membership for the 2010-2011 year. Membership will ensure that you remain updated on NERA initiatives and continue your association with colleagues and friends. You will also have a head start on our 2011 Conference.

Important Announcement regarding the NERA Researcher – In accordance with NERA's commitment to sustainability, beginning last year, members have the option of only receiving an electronic version of the newsletter. When joining or renewing your membership you will be given the option of:

• Receiving an e-mail with the link to each newly-published online issue of the NERA Researcher for the 2010-2011 membership year, and NOT receive a paper copy.
  
• Receiving both a paper copy of the NERA Researcher, and the e-mail that includes the link to newly-published issues.
