KIRSTEN HUFF, PAST PRESIDENT Kristen Huff is Senior Director of Advance Placement Research and Assessment Design at the College Board. She received both her Masters of Education (University of North Carolina Greensboro) and doctorate (University of Massachusetts Amherst) in educational measurement. Before joining the College Board, Kristen worked at Educational Testing Service on the development of TOEFLŪ iBT using evidence-centered design. Her research areas of interest are assessment design, diagnostic score reporting methodology, and item difficulty modeling. Kristen first came to NERA in 2000 and became co-editor of the Researcher from 2002 to 2005. She served on the board from 2004 to 2007 and in 2005, co-chaired the conference program. Kristen became president-elect in 2007 and served as president for the 2008-09 year.
